no, i dont need you to explain what are they, i know PPP= as soft as possible, PP=very soft, P=soft, mp = moderately soft, mF = moderately loud, F=loud, FF=very loud and FFF= as loud as possible....

what i need is how to apply them in music... example, on moonlight sonata 1st movement, it have lable PP, which mean i have to play it at very soft, but then i was another PP on top of a note... what should i do?

Wait, like on top? Isn't it supposed to be at the bottom?

Regardless I believe it's just there, it'd continue to be pp unless stated otherwise or fades into something else.

Dynamics basically go wherever there's room for them.

Assuming you get a p dynamic, that also means that you play softly from that note onwards, not just that note. Generally you'll end up with another dynamic which will override the first one, or an instruction like cres. so you can start building back up.

    thanks another question.

i'm playing in PP, so if i see cresc, i should increase my volume until i reach P. am i correct?
