Hello, My brother recently bought a used Playstation but when we went to play Spyro 3 it gave us the anti-piracy add so we figured it was modded, so I burned a couple games to discs and all work with some having minor errors, but one is haunting me @_@ I got: Digimon Rumble Arena Bust-a-Move 2 Gex Pong and Parasite Eve so far However Bust-a-Move has a problem where 3 songs are 3 second loops minor issue so not to bad But, one game I really want is Digimon World, the original. I've wasted 3 disks on this :< everytime I burn it when I play the game it loads the cutscene and the menu etc but the whole screen is cycling up and down and is in greyscale making it unplayable. No other game has had this issue. I use IMGBurn at 4x speed (have tried at 2x Speed same error) I have 700MB CD-R disks and like I said no other game has had this problem (typical since I LOVED Digimon World) if anyone could help me I would be extremely appreciative.
Keep also in mind not every NTSC image file or PAL file is perfectly compatible, monster rancher 2 NTSC winds up like a PAL game on the TV
So how would I go about getting it to work? the site I got it from lists Rumble arena as an NTSC along with DW1 but World doesn't work and RA does (I live in Canada.)
So I downloaded the PAL version which turned me up with a file called Digimon World (E) [SLES-02914].bin.ecm which is not readable in IMGBurn. What should I do next? You've all been very helpful by the way ^^
Try getting hold of a gameshark image, put it on your PSX, turn the PSX on, select the option to start game, switch the GS CD for the DW1 CD, see if it works now, it should bypass the region problem iirc, also a bit of topic loonylion there is a topic on the support section i made maybe you could give a look at it?
Uggh still didn't work, I got a gameshark Ver.4.0 still nothing I chose to start game put in my NTSC Disc AND my PAL disc exact same error on both occasions >.> This sucks! I really want this game >.<;
