in playstation home you can you play offline multiplayer games with other people? or do they have to be specific tittles?

playstation home in the ps3, the 3d social thing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_Home . it has a game launching option to invite people there to your game, i was asking if you could play offline multiplayer games with other people in playstation home. for example could you play trine with one of your friends over the internet with playstation home.

 

Doubtful. You likely can only play online multiplayer games using this feature. It's probably just an feature to make it easier to play with your friends online.

If a game doesn't have online multiplayer, then it is very unlikely that you can play online using Playstation Home.

 

really? it says to select the number of plays to allow in your lobby...i will just have to test it out.

 

Xbox 360 has a similar thing with "parties". You basically just get a group of friends online together and you can go between multiple games with online multiplayer. It's just an easy way to setup multiplayer games with friends. But you have to have games with online capabilities already.
