ok so i recently got into my ps1 emulator (epsxe v 1.7.0) i have a screenshot of my playstation iso's aswell as these files i copied from a crash bash when i put it into the computer. What i want to know is how to convert the files from the disc into ones i can use to play on my emulator. Help would be very appreciated =D

I got no idea-but those may be from within the disc...which can't run like that.

If they are in any iso type formats (mdf/mds, iso, ccd etc) they will work-but if epsxe can't load them on the "load iso" option get a virtual drive-it may help as some refuse to work.

Also-if you have the real disc-that will also work-just use "load cd" !

I played metal gear solid with the real disc-and even copied games-perfection :)

If you want to correctly copy your crash bash cd (though why bother if the program will accept the real thing) use alchol52% or img burn-copy and pasting from a cd DOES NOT work-must be a copy of the cd image it's self and not the individual contents.

sorry, probably should have mentioned i tried loading directly from the disc, it gives me the error report message and shuts. i think it might be a problem with my plugins...

    what is the error report?

Can you explain it-if it closes down the program the it's what I have-a app crash-though not sure what's causing it.

your forum codes are incorrect-I see a mess but the pic links are still useable.

I'm putting your intended links here because my browser seems to be having trouble getting it to work...

that is a software crash, it could be plugin related. What plugins are you using, and what graphics card do you have?

    video-peops soft driver 1.8
    peops dsound audio driver 1.9
    peops cdr driver 1.4
    SCPH1001.BIN

graphics card not sure, a pretty crap one. My comp is around 10 years old and doesn't even have a dvd drive.

Your pc could be too weak to play psx games...

    I couldn't even see your pics-too big :(

What's the best game graphically to run on your rig so we can get an idea of what it can do.

I would think it could do psx emulation...but mif the settings are low then...maybe not.

Any idea of any system settings?

...what is the commond prompt to get that info-I forgot...dxdiag (that's the name of what I'm on about-maybe that's the command prompt)

i really don't know what my system settings are, may i ask what your plugins are so i can try to replicate the process your emulator goes through?

type 'dxdiag' in the 'run' box on the start menu. The page that comes up will give you the information we need. you can't just copy MDS64's setup because some graphics plugins only work with certain graphics cards.

I just read your specs...you got more power than my laptop-and it's a recent model XD

...I wonder what's holding you up then in emulation.

well, like i said before my computer doesn't have a dvd drive. But i doubt thats the problem. if its not the plugins and its not the computer then i really don't know what it is... What exactly do you do to run the game from the emulator?. because i've been going to run CDrom if thats not it i'm going to feel a little silly
