playstation emulator help

    is there a playstation emulator out there that even a complete moron could set up

    Not really.

    ePSXe is your best bet. The good thing about that is it tells you exactly what critical DLLs and Bios files it is missing when you first get it. Then just google those files and download them.

    The plugins... just gotta guess and check most of the time. I think there are some configuration utilities out there for it. Ones linked to here on romulation.

    See the ePSXe plugin topic stickied in this board for plugins. I think they're outdated though. Make sure to use Pete's drivers.

    Go there and download the emulator and the plug ins. Then configure it, it's not too hard. It actually tells you what you need to do. Then Get the BIOS file likeTirithRR suggested. The beauty of it is that it generally only requires you to configure it once and then you are set for most games. Some games will require specific settings or patches, however, they are few. Most games work straight away on the latest version with the best plug ins.
