I have recently acquired a problem with my Playstation 3. Every time I play my Playstation Menu is just black and white and it takes 20 seconds to turn off and keeps beeping ( Maybe it's swearing ). But the main problem is when I play Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction, I've completed planet Mukow and I press Triangle by the ship to go to the galaxy map but all these binary digits and code appear, this game is quite new and has no scratches a tiny smudge and has only been played like 3 times, all these problems only started happening today so maybe it's having a bad day ( Who Knows ). This problem seems quite bad and if there is any way to fix it I would be most happy as I just bought Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time and would like to play it without the Playstation ripping it's binary code. Please reply as I would like to fix this problem before it get's increasingly worse. Regards, Retropower
If you can get a vid of what is happening that would help...it almost sounds like it was part of the game. But it seems like your ps3 is acting up, let me ask... -Has it been altered/modded in any way? -Have you hit/dropped the system? -Which model is it exactly (don't say slim or fat-we need to know the original hard drive capacity even if the hard drive has been changed since).
hYpNoS, is correct, answer those questions and also Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time is VERY VERY Buggy game and does harm to your system
Says who? My brother plays both the Ratchet and Clank games, my co workers who has PS3s also play them...
my mates have told me so, that it has crashed their system so bad they had to do the master reset on it.
Unless the game forces your system to update and it failed, how in the hell can it damage your system? Their system might have had a crash or something, might be an old model... But the possibility of the game being faulty is still a possibility.
I fixed the problem, there was some sort of option changed on the menu that stopped it from working. I've tried Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time and it's amazing, works perfectly By the way my Playstation is: (Not that it matters) Not Modded, Bought from a shop It has never been dropped, it's stayed in it's spot above the DVD Player It's a 37GB Fat Playstation 3 (Does that help) Thanks Everyone Regards, Retropower
37GB...so it's a 40GB model then. ...Some of those are dieing I heard, but with love and care, they will do fine
