    Alright, I've finally updated my PSP's firmware to 3.90-M33-3. I'm just wondering how you can play PSX titles on the PSP. I've extracted a series of files off of Romulation, but which files go where is my question? The files I received after the download were:
    Final Fantasy VIII CD1.ccd
    Final Fantasy VIII CD1.cue
    Final Fantasy VIII CD1.img
    Final Fantasy VIII CD1.sub
    I'm not too sure, but I think they have to be an ISO, so does that mean I have to convert them?? Or are these even the correct files that are supposed to run on the PSP? Any help is appreciated!

    Google ImgBurn (Free) and Alcohol 52% (also free). Install both, mount your .img file (keeping all your other files in the same folder) with Alcohol 52%, very easy. Then go to ImgBurn and make an image from the virtual drive, and save it as a .iso file.

    On a side note, don't name a post "omg help!" it's not very descriptive.

    to play a psx game on psp it has to be an eboot the best place to get them would be http://pspiso.com/forumdisplay.php?f=167 your gonna have to register but its worth it you also have to get the popsloader plugin go here to find out how to get it http://pspiso.com/showthread.php?t=225210

    Just do the same method described above. You can mount nearly all types of image files.

    Try redownloading it. Did you extract it fine when you first downloaded it? Before you mounted it etc.?

    Alright, I've mounted my Image file using Magic Disc, and I'm now trying to allocate the ISO. So where can I find it; pardon me if this is blatantly obvious question... ???

    What program did you use to make the image? Generally, on the same window which has all the burn settings, image settings etc. it will have the directory to save the image in.

    Probably could try a different program, or find another site with straight .iso files.

    If you have the CD-(Or download with the CD number [SLUS-0000]), you could use ISO Buster, then extract the files to AutoPopstation, then use the MS utility and convert it into an EBOOT. That's what I did and now I'm playing everything from Playstation CDS's on my PSP! Also, it has a Software manual creator that allows you to upload images, or text files and convert them into a DOCUMENT.DAT, and view the file during game play! I figured it out through this tutorial on Youtube:
    PART 1(General):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPrackODaQE&fmt=18
    PART 2(How to use it):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=voPDWeCtMtQ&feature=related&fmt=18

    It's all there, good luck!
    P.S-Also, I find most of the converted files run very well on 3.71-M33-2.
    P.P.S-Sorry, I guess I kinda' answered my own question, didn't I? :p
