Please forgive me for asking, but I have ePSXe on my Windows Vista computer, and I just downloaded Final Fantasy VII.
Because it comes in three (3) discs, do I have do to anything special to run the game?

    Thank You in Advance

Just load each disc like usual. Any problems, post them here.

Ah! But, at the top, when I press file, it only gives me four choices. CD-ROM,ISO,PS-EXE or BIOS.
The files I have are all .bin with a .cue in the same folder.

Ah! File, then ISO. Then it will ask you to load either a .iso, .img or .bin image file.

That worked! Thank you. Do you know the plug-ins compatible with Final Fantasy VII?

Try Petes OpenGL for Video, Eternal SPU for Sound, and you don't really need to worry about the CD plugin. The best bios is scph1001.bin (google).

I'm very sorry to be bugging everyone so much, but there is yet another problem.
I have all the proper plug-ins installed, but the mini-screen is just black when I load the .bin file.

Very sorry for all the disturbance.

Do you have ffdshow? What OS are you running?

I own a Windows Vista Athlon 32-bit desktop computer.
    What is ffdshow?

If you don't know what ffdshow is, you don't have it :) Try going to your video plugin settings and change the FPS limit to 50. If that doesn't work, try 60/ If that doesn't work, post back here :)

What version of ePSXe are you using? There may be a chance that the current version you're using isn't fully compatible with Vista.

Make sure you turn on the special game fix in the options for Final Fantasy VII, I believe it's the first one on the list.
Without it, there will be alot of random graphics in menus and fight scenes.

I'm using ePSXe 1.7 and I also have Vista, and it runs just fine. Probably a small setting or something you're missing.

PS: Have you updated to Service Pack 1?
