This is my nds lite, used to be on crimson black color. This design only costs $8. I love my ds and I'm not buying a dsi cuz i don't want to give up slot 1, not quite sure if that's reasonable, but maybe I'll have to wait for nintendo's entirely new handheld...

Question, how did you do this? If you detail how you went about this, I am definitely doing a conversion at some point.

well actually that is just a protective shell, i got tired of replacing my fragile crystal case. you'll find lots of styles here for a very cheap price, i mean here in the philippines sorry for my poor english

I just have a blue dsi with a crystal case and screen protectors lol. i keep it in a neoprene case so it stays mint condition. got my iTouch 2 with an 8GB microsd in slot 1 and another 8GB microsd inside an adapter inside the SD card port.

 

I want that design!! Where did you get it from???

 

My first DS mod. Was a Transparent Ghost case. Unfortunately was of poor quality and broke after only a few weeks.

Mod I did a week after the Translucent one for my sister. Used parts from my Original DS & my sisters pink DS to make it.


Repair mod of my DS using spare parts. Ghost shell cracked and was not working

you change the DS shell yourself? how much does one cost?

here it costs around Php1500-2000, which is a lot in here.

 

I was looking into modding my DS case then the more I read about it the less I liked the ideal seeing how crappy the ghost shells are and other than stock shells I didn't see anything I liked, plus I read unless your real careful you can break the on/off switch and a few other tedious things so its not something for a beginner. Good detail disassembly and reassembly would be nice but I haven't found any yet.

 

Only about $20 CDN. $28 for a shock case (recommended)

As long as you use a fairly good case the install should take about an hour or so (5+ hrs with a crappy Ghost case ). Just be care and don't force anything. This one took only about 45minutes

Hehe I have given up modding DSes, I'm currently on my 7th DS, standard white case

 

Just how many DSes do you people even have?

 

I have 9. I'll have my tenth one when I can find this DS Lite for sale for less than $500.

 

So I guess Shock! would be the better ones to get? Thanks for the link too, might actually try it out seeing as I have a few extra ones to mess with now.
