I'm not so familiar with the PSP library, since I spend 90% of my gaming time on my DS. Can anyone give recommendations on pick-up and play games? Stuff like Space Invaders Extreme, Metal Slug(Which does not work for me) or Everyday Shooter?

Those were pick up and play, like, play for 10 minutes, put down, do something else.

I recommend DJ Max Portable 2, if you like music games.

Otherwise, get Star Strike Portable (Japanese version of Super Stardust Portable.) It's a good 2D shooter game. As for why the Japanese version, it's because it has extra game modes not included in US version.

    Half Minute Hero.

Why isn't Metal Slug? and which one the Anthology or XX?

    Anthology

And I've played HMH, DJMax, and I may try Star Strike if its bullet hell.

Well...what CFW are you using? I am using 5.50 GEN-D3 and both Anthology and XX work.

    5.03 GEN-C Final

Games that I can enjoy in a 10 minute sitting, then move on to do something else.

Well i'm not a huge hardcore gamer but I've really enjoyed Ace Combat X, you can really pick it up and play and come back to it days later. And earning new planes and parts was really addicting.

Age of Zombies. Think of the flash game "Boxhead" when you play it.

    pick up and play...

I'd try looking at the psp mini's collection. Games like Zombie Tycoon, Echochrome and Field Runners can be great little time wasters.

It's really short game, but fun to play.

I see someone who doesn't understand what I'm looking for. Disgaea 2 is no-where near a PickUpandPlay. It's just too addicting.

    I'll try that.

I find Tetris is a good time waster as well as Age of Zombies and Need for Speed:Underground Rivals

If metal slug doesnt work just change the driver you using. Like the m33 driver and stuff, I think its 4 different ones.Just press the select button when your in the main screen.
