would vanish for me pretty quick, then again i think just idling your instant messaging programs with the 50mb data plan would be drained pretty quick anyway

Facebooking the only thing I do pretty much on the internet ....yet i text pretty often... but if i had to decide to pick it would be facebooking.....
Phones are meant for calls. I used my phone for internet...50mb didn't last...infact I somehow went $200 over my bill on net alone (Then again i did use my phone as a modem on the odd occasion ) Get the txt option, I have a plan with $30 credit and 100 free txt...I usually down 80 a month since I use it just to let people know that I'm coming (and to get the riot shields ready ) and the credit is used on in emergencies... Besides, you have a pc with internet right-THERE YA GO DO THE MATH! Internet=pc's only Phones=calls and txt only
Wow, that plan is a major rip off. With a $19 plan here in Sweden you'd get unlimited text and probably some other perks
phone internet is the most slowest piece of crap offered to humanity. i remember the dial-up internet and it was way better than phone internet. 50MB? i could use that in just a few hours... then if its for a month, then the bill be skyrocketed.
i say go with the texts. It would last me around 3-4 weeks whereas 50 mb internet would fly off me in less then a day.
