could someone tell me what to do on the isle of ember at one point i am supposed to say something in the mike but how am i supposed to do it? could someone please tell me what to do

i am stuck at the part where Celia says she feels a presence behind the stone slab and tells you to call out to the presence by saying something loud and clear into the mike .but seeing how i am using an emulator and not an actual DS i am lost on what to do. I would be grateful if you could tell me what to do.
