Phantasy Star Zero Wi-Fi

Hello there, actually there seems to be nothing wrong with the bahamut release on my r4 sdhc. But here was a chatroom on xat to meet up with wifi people and strangely i cant connect to people from US or North America ... but i can with a guy from sweden and australia. They say it was region locked but some sites it doesnt have region lock. then someone said that if i was using the rom from bahamut then thats the problem it was bugged, that guy had the same problem and got it fixed, havent got the chance to ask him how though.

PS.
My problem is not connection, about the one play with friends. cant join on us guys.
