Okay, so... I've gone through the beginning of the game twice up past the first boss, the dragon. First time playing it was like yay. Then, when I turn on my DS again to play my save file was somehow erased, strange. Then, I play again up to the boss. At some point I again... Start up the game again to play and my save file was somehow erased again. It's really strange, has anyone else had this problem? I use R4 and in between game times I've modified some data on my SD card (just simple inserting and removing files), I feel it isn't a coincidence that the files were erased because of those actions

Nope, that wouldn't have been the cause of these corruptions etc. Try backing up, reformat your MicroSD, and then delete the save and create it again and get to the point where it usually craps out (first boss or whatever etc.).

Nevermind, I think I've figured it out. There was one key detail that I didn't mention, I also modified my cheat file so when I changed it, it set everything to default settings which was all cheats disabled. That had also included the piracy bypass code needed to play Phantasy Star Zero, with that said, would it be possible for the anti-piracy thing to clear my save data?

Yes it could corrupt the save file if you indeed enabled it after you created the save file in the first place. It happened to me with a few.

The exact same thing happen to me.You just have to let the anti-piracy code enabled each time you play the game.[/color]
