PGL WIFI Competition

    Just want to ask a question from those who'd paticipated in PGL WIFI competitions before, since I might decide to join one for mere fun and curiousity, as there's still 1-2 more days to sign up for the WINTER 2013.

    Will the number of badges owned effect the ability to control/command pokemon sent to the event?

    No, your number of badges won't effect the controlling of your Pokémon in GBU competitions.

    what is this PGL GBU stuff?, oh and if it is metagame wise, you need skill, good core team that are ev'ed (hence why i prefer stuff like pokemon online to play competitive), perfect iv's, favorable nats and good movesets.


    Or you can abuse Drizzle+Swift Swim+Chesto Resto kingdra and remove all difficulty

    then you cant have duplicate items, hmm, how experienced are you at battling on wi-fi?

    Like I said in the above, first time. Today's the last day for this 2013 Winter Friendly, not doing too well, but it's my first time so what the heck. I've already registered for the Kanto Cup held next Saturday (23/2). Yup...I know the rules. Can't register the pokemon if they don't fulfill the competition rules.

    Hmm, can i pm you? i am thinking of sending you a team i made (if you have pokegen it's easy to build it :p), also since you are just starting at the metagame i could try to introduce you to a few people i know that can tutor you in the whole thing if you want too

    Sure, go ahead and PM me anytime. I do use Pokegen. There is a latest version that came out few days ago. v3.1.13. But it's not made by Codr, it's by his partner, Mat. The bugs found since v.3.1.11 is still in it. I'm also using PikaEdit, it's similar to Pokegen, but better quality and better features from RubenPikachu. About the tutoring, it's ok. My motive to join such event is not to win, it's more for fun and the promised participation reward.

    Oh...2013 Winter Friendly is officially over as of last night. Today is the time for me to withdraw my pokemon. Since 26th Feb will be maintenance day again in the PGL site. I've already sent 6 pokemon to join the Kanto cup Single Competition. Again, not the best of team. Had limited eligible pokemon to enter from the Kanto dex, most of my high level pokemon are from Sinnoh dex. Can't withdraw to change them, if I do, I can't re-participate. Maybe next event, I can send better team and go further than just aiming for those participation reward, and make myself in the rankings. Who knows.....
