Are people now day all bacteriophobia\mysophobia? because i see too much product with anti-bacteria property, some of them are useless like Anti-Bacteria shampoo or Anti-Bacteria lotion, FYI 99.99% bateria free advertise for a anti-bacteria shampoo is a lie since the anti-bacteria only work if you are cover with thier form more then 20mins.

    so far i have see

    Anti-Bacteria Shampoo and bath
    Anti-Bacteria Toothbrush and Toothpase
    Anti-Bacteria Mouth wash
    Anti-Bacteria Hand Lotion
    Anti-Bacteria Detergent(s)
    Anti-Bacteria Air Condition (seriously?)
Anti-Bacteria Floor Brush and other cleaning tools
Anti-Bacteria Deodorant (understandable, since Bacteria is the main cause of the odor)

so whats next? Anti-Bacteria underpants? Anti-Bacteria Chicken? Anti-Bacteria Shoes? Anti-Bacteria Hair Comb?

    your thought?

The whole anti-bacterial craze is ridiculous. A complete fear that bacteria is going to collapse civilization. Only if people realized that bacteria isn't always a bad thing...

the stupid thing is, is that if you let you kids grow up in a bacteria free environment thinking it is safer (which is what we are led to believe) its harming them more because we only build our immune system in the first place by coming in contact with bacteria.

part of the problem here is the media peddling scare stories (e.g swine flu). The media intentionally over exaggerate the threat, because 'shock' headlines sell papers. as a result, people get whipped up into a media-influenced frenzy about bacteria causing such and such a disease, and demand the anti-bateria products to protect them, when in reality the actual level of risk has been blown out of proportion. Exactly like swine flu. The media has stirred such a panic over it that you've got countries like Japan where everyone is wearing face masks, and Egypt where they're slaughtering pigs. What people are overlooking (partially because the media are conveniently not mentioning it). is that swine flu is a whole lot less deadly than normal flu, which kills hundreds of thousands every year. Sensationalism sells papers, balanced reporting with accurate figures in the right context does not.

    My thoughts exactly,
Often on rainy days I go out to the park to play footy (Australian Rules Football) or soccer, wearing a light shirt and shorts. My parents yell "GEORGE! WHAT THE *%*&$(%^)$(*&$(*& !!! GET YOUR *%)(*$% ASS BACK HERE AND PUT SOME CLOTHES ON!!!"
I simply run out the door and yell back "Bye mum, bye dad, going to build my immune system!"
Suffice to say, this rarely works.

I wonder if the bottles get sanitized on the way out of the factory.

every bottle and can that use in the factory will be sanitized before the food product is stored, its one of the health requirement in the factory, plus it make the food last longer, and reduct the risk of food poisoning. IIRC the food product are heated to the highest temperture in thier container before they are sealed, for the same reason.
