First you need to turn your disc into a ISO image

Download PCSX2 Beta 1888, It now has its own ISO boot in menu

when i try to start the game please insert format disc

 

Its asking for your original disc to be in your DVD drive, click on blue link abouth and download the latest PCSX2 Beta 1888 they will be a iso boot in menu now there!

Is they not anymore options in your config with cdvdrom

What is your system specs?, PC.

So you do have a iso image of your game?

You will need a iso plugin type!, And that sould be in config with cdvdrom

If you have anuther type of crash, try a diffrent graphics plugin this also helps with cd or iso plugin!

Try also diffrent combinations

Are you using a DVD disc or iso image?

Cdvdrom

Linus ISO CDVD for image

Gsdx for graphics

But do download the latest version of the emualtor

Download PCSX beta r1888 from the abouth link

Override your original, reset your setings, Click on file you will now see a new... Run Iso image , Click on it locate your game and run!
