This is my review for Silent Hill Homecoming, you can put comments after reading thanks :D

Well as we all know, Silent hill is one of the best horror- genre game that still reigns supreme until today, but did it's latest franchise Silent Hill Homecoming made a difference or did it just trashed the whole silent hill legacy, Lets find out.

I played Silent Hill Homecoming on the PC since that i don't own a PS3 (too expensive...) and a Xbox 360 (RROD Problem), Silent Hill Homecoming takes you on a journey with the main character Alex Shepherd, arriving at sheperd's glen, Alex notices that his father and his brother, Joshua were gone missing and as you play you will unravel many things that made sheperd's glen and Silent hill connected.

    Story:

Arriving in Sheperd's Glen, Alex notices that almost everybody important in his life was gone missing and his mother was in a catonic state (Sorry if i misspelled). Realizing this, Alex explores Sheperd's Glen while learning it's dark secrets connected with Silent hill. Alex then knows that some of his neighborhood friends sacrificed there offspring as an offering to some kind of demon lord, knowing this he then realizes that he was one of the sacrifices but unfortunately he accidentally killed his younger brother Joshua by drowning him, this then enters as a sacrifice of Alex's family. Now he must face the darkness that came upon there town Sheperd's Glen.

    Gameplay:

Well the gameplay isin't that bad, it is just new to the silent hill family, with dodges, rolls, heavy and light attacks. And in order to continue to some blocked areas you will need a kind of weapon that will destroy the said obstructions, and also they added a HUD display of your remaining vitality on the left side of the screen so you could be aware of it.

    Enemies:

Well the enemies here are a bit new to me, except for one which is the skinless dog that is seen on silent hill 1. Enemies here are a bit a challenge for me at least, with the new AI system you will be mostly fighting for your life.

    Graphics:

The graphics are nice except on my PC because my graphics card is GeForce 9300 GE, Low end isin't it?, but looking it in the PS3 and 360 the graphics are amazing and truly an experience for me and other players, ive' never seen Silent hill on HD! its so damn awsome.

    Sound:

Well the music and ambiance in the game dosen't haunt me a bit but hey the game does have a really cool soundtrack and i loved it so much specially the boss tunes so its okay for me.

    Overall:

The game is really a unique one, ive' played many silent hill games (Silent Hill, SH2, SH4, SH Origins) and this one made me very happy because of it's new specialties that other silent hill titles don't have but i am not saying it's the best, the story made me a little bored but hey a game can be worth trying specially this one.

    So i give this game : 4/5

That's it for my review, thanks for reading.

I love Silent Hill series. I have this game on PC too but haven't played it (Orange Box is keeping me busy). Good to see that it's a good game. Looking forward to it. As Loony said, please look at the review guidelines. Check out other "veterans'" reviews and see how it compares so you can get a general idea of how to shape yours (adding screenshots, making the score out of 50 etc). Thanks, and great start. Looking forward to more :)
