i've just re-installed windows like i have multiple times but for some reason this time now when i'm gaming with mates (well i can't at the moment because of this) they get horrible feedback of them selves.
it definitely my end as its only when i'm connected, the symptom is that when they speak it feeds back to them so it repeats what they said like a really loud horrible eco.

i've re-installed the drivers, tried fiddling with all the settings and now i'm lost

google doesn't want to play ball and find me the info i want either

    can anyone help :'(

    (looks at loony)

Is your mic on all the time, instead of being on only when you push a "push to talk" button? That would cause your mic to pick up sounds from your speaker (their voice). It doesn't seem like something like this should happen because of drivers, it'd seem like your mic is just picking up the voices from your speakers.

could be that, could be the mic gain being too high, or could be a mixer setting

its not picking up sounds from my headset, hardly any sound come out of it and its the same pair i was using before

@loony nothing to do with setting i have tried all the settings

the odd thing is that although i have the bars for setting on the playback option s i don't have the others anymore

Something is quite badly messed up. Some of your playback bars have 'advanced' buttons next to them, usually only microphones have that. Also it mentions 'front pink line' and 'rear pink line' in the playback section, which is also odd, because pink is almost universally used for the microphone jack. Come to think of it, blue is also usually line in. (speakers tend to be green, orange and black/grey). Are these the same drivers you were using before?

i think i need to somehow completely remove the drivers somehow and find my old disc (this time i got the drivers off the msi web site)
