does anyone know if the NDS can run classic pc games like Monkey Island

if so, can anyone point me in the right direction in terms of how and where, etc.

I think there was something like this. I think it was called SCUMM but I can't remeber. I just remember seeing it on the Datel MMD Mini Site when I had one. hope this helps

That's not really the topic of this site/board. Even though it's old warez it's still out of our scope.

I don't know if ScummVM will run Sam and Max. From what I've heard it can only play games that use the scumm engine (like monkey island).

yup i've been playing scumm games on my ds for a while now. but all the people provide is really an engine to run the games. you still have to copy out the files from ur original cds first in order to play. dont know if you can find em off the net but as like for most stuff, i'm sure someone uploaded it somewhere.

in any case, the old scumm games work pretty well with the ds using the touchscreen and all. the only thing is that some of the text is harder to read (because of the screen size)

There used to be a site called Home Of The Underdogs that hosted the games. Now I'm curious if that's still there.

Jesus people stop telling me if there are ROMs on those sites... Chances are I already know and if I don't I'll want to find out myself. >.<

There is Doom DS which is very cool. Quake DS is pretty cool.

www.gbatemp.net has a nice selection of ports.
