    Hey guys

I bought The Witcher the other day, and the loading time is really slow so I downloaded the patch... but I don't know how to patch PC games... Little help?

Most patches are just a case of clicking the patch and then it'll run it's self.

    Can you do this?

Game patches usually install themselves, if not you have to follow the instructions from the company. When I downloaded the patch for Dragon Age, it was just a program which ran, and patched the executable and a couple files. If it didn't come like that, you may have to just put the files in the installed directory, replacing the old ones.

(Note, this isn't referring the warez, just to patching your games with updates from the company who sells them).

I'm pretty sure you can refer to the site from where you download it.

If there are no instructions, I'm pretty sure it's just click and install.

official patches are almost always executables. Just double click and it will run. I doubt the patch will do anything about the loading time though.

Seph the patch was made to help with the loading time, and yeah it was just click and run... I feel a little on the blonde side right now but I've never tried to patch a PC game before so I wanted to be sure.

It kinda helps, it's still a long load but it's a lot better now. Thanks guys
