You pay points for downloading. And you get 50 points each day. One point has the value of one MB, but downloads below a certain size don't cost point.
downloads below 75MB do not cost points. If you mean monetary payments, then we appreciate donations, but there is no obligation to pay anything.

Yes, it says on the "donation" page that anything $5 or above will give you 10,000 points, but for some reason some people never read that (or ignore it) so they try to get off with $1 or $0.01. Of course that doesn't work.
yes, however we would lose most of it because of paypal's fees I think. They have a minimum fee so less than $5 means that most of it goes to paypal.
