Patching NDS roms HELP please

    Hi i'm using a R4 card with version 1.18 software on it..... however i'm finding some of the newer games wont work, i used to patch them using gui arm7 injector however this has stopped working i've looked everywhere for other solutions and can't find any please can somone far wiser and more knowledable than me please help.....

    Try to use YSMenu.

    Thanks for that it looks really complicated so trying one other recommendation first if all else fails will try that route thank you very much

    All you have to do is download one of the sets. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?m0om0mmzyuh would be a good choice as you can switch between using the R4 firmware and YSMenu firmware.

    Hi again wise people... My other option was useless and completely buggered the ds so formatted and downloaded the ys menu.. not sure i understand it completely thou. Do i just put games on as normal and then load them throu ys menu? and can i re name this file to uncomplicate it for my 6 year old?

    Check first page for list of games that work unpatched with ysmenu, apart from zelda ST

    And yes dose work on my R4 kernal v1.18

    Witch one?

    Yes you can rename ysmenu.nds to

    Boot Me First.nds

    Are what ever you like

    just end it with .nds

    Barbie and the three musketeers creates save file then i get error code =4?

    With bouth kernal v1.18 as is , and the boot of ysmenu.nds frist and your game after that ?

    Are you using a 2gb microSD card , that all a R4 revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS) can take upto

    Any bigger then 2gb microSD cards can cause problem

    Hi it's only a 2gb card and it doesn't work on either 1.18 kernal or ys menu... any ideas?

    on r4 kernal it just does save file then blank on ys menu i get err code 4... just to be clear thank you you are being a great help x

    You could try the PC emulator with the game , and a usb joypad or play with keybord
