Patching Jump Super Stars

Umm, i got the jump superstars (J) rom and i got this patch from some website... (called trl-jsse)

Since I have both, how do I patch JSS now? Where do I get the patcher, and how is it possible? Thanks

 

It would help if you stated what the trl-jsse file type/extension was.

I Googled "trl-jsse" and I can only find that it may be a .PDS file. Is that right?

Judging by the website it's from, it seems that maybe they have their own patcher for the .PDS file.

I think it would just be easier to get Jump! Ultimate Stars and the English Patch. It's pretty much all done, and Ultimate Stars has more content.

 

yeah i already beat Sump Ultimate stars.. I heard superstars is smoother though, so iwanted to try it

 

google a program called dps patcher, run it and the rest will be clear.

*Note. Your computer may see that the patcher isn't responding, DON'T CLOSE IT. It's just because it's patching.

Also the patch is a PDS.file ???

try jump ultimate stars

 

The patch should have come with it's own coded file, open it, load a clean ROM, then the patch with the extension specified in the window, and patch.

 

lol dude, i already said that ive beaten it man.. thats why i want to try the previous versoin...

i didnt come with a coded file though :'( darn
All it came with was the patch, and an MSInfo file ???

apply the .pds patch from this archive to your rom.

EDIT: Hey guys, when i patched it it was working fine, until a DOS window poped up making it look like it worked and then it said in an error message:
An error has occured. Please check your rom and patch. Darn

 

try redownloading the ROM.

I checked NO$GBA for JSS, and its still japanese.. the rom isnt corrupted or anything.. do you think redownloading the rom will work?

EDIT: Never mind guys, i didnt follow the instructions.. i needed to wait until the DOS box closed, and then clicked OK... now i'll try it

 

You should never interrupt a command line window.

 

Nope doesn't work, the rom is okay, and the patcher said "Patching Done" but nothing happened ...

 

Try testing it on your DS. What do you mean nothing happens?

 

i played it on NO$GBA, and its still japanese.. no translation occured, so i guess i cant do anything about it

Wait, it renamed the translated ROM into a different name.. i found it in my ROMS folder!! Yes, thank you everyone!

yeah, atleast both games have patches.. thats the good thing, however i found superstars to have faster gameplay, and ultimate stars has more characters
