Is it possible to transfer the parts from within a mini tower to a full tower and later swap components such as graphics cards? Whoops, just realized I posted in the wrong section. Excuse my mistake, a move would be appreciated.
depends, if its a prebuilt sff (small form factor), probably not since prebuilts usually have custom parts. Otherwise, yes
You should be able to upgrade to an extent. I think Dell and Gateway like to strip down their components though, so your video card, even if name brand, will probably be missing things like cooling fans. My old Gateway had a Gefroce4 Ti 4200, yet it was missing the cooling fan on it that they had out of the box. It used Nvidias drivers though, so there was no real reason why it shouldn't have worked in another computer with a compatible slot.
