Parasite Eve 2 Problems

    I got Parasite Eve 2 from here, but the dang thing won't get past the Square Electronic Arts screen. I've downloaded this rom from several other sites and it runs into the same problem. Is it my emulator? I use pSX v1.13.

    It's probably your Emulator (or settings) and not the rom.

    Try different plugins or settings, if that doesn't work try ePSXe 1.5.2 or 1.7.0 with the plugin pack in the stickied topic on these forums.

    I dont know if it works for the pc emulator but on the PSP we encounter such problems regularly. Usually changing the game ID to a Japanese region helps

    Thanks tirith. I got 1.7.0 and it worked like a charm.

    And Solus, could you please explain the whole game ID change thing? I really don't get it at all
