Pandora Error...

Hello......!

Recently, I downloaded the 1.34 kernel for R4 SDHC, to get Pandora.

Now, it won't work.
It gives text on the bottom screen, no text on the top screen.

Could you please help?

I would format it with the Panasonic SD format thing, and do a fresh install.

 

Why did you patch it? What problems did you run into?

 

I format it with the Windows included formatter, always worked for me.

BTW, the game requested to look at works, though the data will get corrupt...

I know it sounds strange, but I have heard of people using this formatter and everything magically worked afterwords.

I'd love to post it, but... It is dangerous at this point.
It can brick your card, and the only way to unbrick isn't found yet...

Also, it works again, but now the patched kernel has some issues...

How can it brick your card if you format it afterwards? Doesn't the card just run off of what's on the Sd card? I've installed tons of different menus and just formatted when I wanted to change.

 

Menu = integrated in card after first run.
The only way to get it out is not found yet...

The R4 SDHC card has the menu after first run.

Also, the R4 SDHC kernel's files will be deleted and X10's kernel files come in the place of them.
Basically you are switching to the X10's kernel (a kernel created by me)

You won't see any difference, but...

And for all games, you still need the patched version in this version of the kernel.
This is v1.0 Stable, I got 1.1 BETA.

 

Sounds good so far. Hopefully Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey will work too.

 

Like I said, file will be corrupt and you get an "Save failed" message...
