It would not be a good business move to release another version of the Wii. The console world is already made confusing and divided with various "SKUs" with the 360 and PS3. One of the best things about the Wii is that you just buy it and take it home; no decision-making needed. It's also not a great idea to tack on HD to a console that really can't take advantage of it. The beef in performance the Wii would need to do it isn't worth it and goes against Nintendo's philosophy of incremental improvement for no reason (at least in consoles... the DSi has done a pretty good job of being incremental and worthless). So Nintendo will definitely go HD with their next console... it just won't be a Wii.
Agreed. It may not be a wiiHD...it's just a remoured name from long ago-or just a code like revolution... I'd hate to see a wii with just 1080p-that's a wadte.
the next console from nintendo would be when they would have to kill the wii or when they are no longer able to make games for the console, that is the console becomes a road block for making games.
