Over 200,000 Wii battery recharging stations recalled

    Are you the proud owner of a Nintendo Wii 4-Dock Recharge Station made by Psyclone Essentials or React? Put your pride aside and back away slowly -- these puppies can burn.

    The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall of about 220,000 of the $50 stations after receiving reports that the batteries can overheat and cause burns. So far, six cases of overheating have been reported along with two cases of actual hand burns.

    Available at major retailers like Toys R Us, Amazon, Target and Best Buy, the products were made in China and distributed by Griffin International in the U.S. Psyclone has more information about the recall on their site.

    This is a 4-dock? Good. I have the 2-dock.

    It's common sense really to check to see if it's hot though...

    I was thinking the same thing, but we have a lot of mental people here in the US.
