i'm currently using an r4 flashcart and i've encountered this distressing problem everytime i load Castlevania:OoE. the game works fine, but after shutting down and switching the ds on, the menu becomes corrupt and i have to download the software all over again and fix this problem. does anyone have a solution to this?

Have you tried backing up everything and doing a format of the SD card before you put the software on it again?

yes, i have. i'm currently using a kingston 2gb card, and i can play all my games on it, except this. i've tried using a sandisk 1gb microsd card, and surprisingly, i can play without any problems. any ideas on why this happens?

Real simple kingston is too slow.4gb sandisk for the win.

Read/Write speed. I suggested doing a reformat of the card as that would have fixed a fragmented file system on the card. But sometimes cards are just too slow.

its not even booting up on mine, but you really should copy all your saved games to a folder everytime you add or remove something.

Um, sorry to break it to you, Shuvo, but most Micro SD cards over 2Gb come with SDHC, which isn't compatible with the R4.

And Stickfas, I haven't a clue how you could be having problems with your R4 unless your firmware is out of date. CV:OoE works just fine on my SanDisk 2Gb, and I've saved all 11 villagers.
