Hi all.... thought I'd throw this out there, and I mentioned it a bit in reply to a post in my other thread--- High Capacity Micro SD Cards... anyone using one in a Cyclo, R4 or other device? What's made Kingston the LEADER is the SPEED -- has 8mbs Read rating and about 1.5mbs sustained transfer. When I first looked into SDHC, it seemed the best there was was only 4mbs read.... I WAS WRONG KingMax is reporting 19-22 mbs read and about a 4mbs sustained transfer rating...... Should this not mean it should also have no compatibility issues? Even Sandisk Ultra II now reports at least a 10 read speed. Thoughts, Experiences?
It'll work on CycloDS Evoluation though, so it is an option, don't think that just because it doesn't work on R4 it doesn't work at all.
yeah, i should have qualified my topic--- I'm getting the Cyclo (if the store ever confirms my order...) I want more than a 2gb card but the class 4 cards are slower than the Kingston units. now i can't find ANY store selling the micro sdhc 4gb Class 6..... strange...
