Okay. I've been getting graphical glitches throughout my gametime in Diablo II. It happened with and without any mods.

This is one I took from the Modded game.

Sorry for the blackness of it, but see those colored parts? those are the actual glitches.

I'm currently in the 1920x1080 res. Any way to stop this?

I would post one of the title screen, which explodes in funky colors, but it comes out as black in print screen.

The best I can suggest is drop your resolution some. I can't imagine that it's your graphics card or chip set (whichever of the two you have), as even with an awful chip set, Diablo 2 ran flawlessly for me.

Also, it has run well on every version of Windows from XP through 7 for me, so it isn't compatibility.

I know. My graphics card, NVIDIA GeForce GT230 is usually meant for 3D games, but this is a 2D game. So I want to know if there's a way out of this.

It apparently works with 800X600 RES, but it looks really really bad.

there are serious questions over the nvidia 200 series cards. I've had issues with my 280 and my friend has been through 3x geforce 285 cards all exhibiting similar issues.

    Hm...
Is it bad? Because I can run games like Crysis really well on the highest settings.
So how about a simple 2D game like Diablo II?

its only World of Warcraft we have issues in, and they're intermittent. Other games we've tried work fine.

    Hrmm...
I looked around, apparently I'm the only one who has this problem.
