I don't get it either, how can two people fall in love with each other if they only base their relationships on a game avatar as Calvin_0 said, what if one or the other isn't what you expected?

 

well easy money and item when you have a boyfriend in mmorpg XD (one of the reason why i play female character LOL)

 

ive known a few to actually turn out pretty well, and a few that were scams.

These things always sound kind of iffy to me; but if you do meet I would be careful and choose to meet somewhere with people around, like a restaurant or something just in case. I've heard my share of horror stories with these kind of situations.

 

Don't. Just don't. You can't trust people you just met online, and like someone else said there's a risk they're not who they say they are. Stick to real life relationships.

 

I agree and I hear that people get married over the internet. And if you swapped pictures online, and then met in real life, they could look completely different Or be in it for the money etc.

The chance for an online relationship succeding, that is with no factors like money or other stuff involved, only pure "love", is by far 1 in a million, I think
