I've heard that there are many flashcards that work on the ds like for example: Ace3DS, R4 series, DSTwo ect. Does anyone of these flashcards or any flashcard play 3DS roms? Thx

bricking means turning into a brick, i.e it becomes useless. There is no evidence of any units being bricked by flashcarts (aside from N5 flashcarts which had a design fault that could result in a brick). It is most likely just bullshit put out by nintendo to scare people off.
thats right. future 3ds updates might block the flashcart but so long as you don't update the 3ds until the new version is confirmed working with the acekard or the acekard team release an update, you wont have a problem.

Buy the AceKard 2i or R4i Gold 3DS (better in my opinion as it hasn't needed any updates for passing DSi or 3DS updates) From www.Lightake.com Thats where I get mine and they're Legit. The AceKards even have real Anti-counterfeit stickers and numbers!
