On Original R4 - 1.24 the screen is darker

    If you press the L Button or click on the sun while on the
    R4 menu it will toggle between different brightness settings
    see which work.

    If this doesn't help just notify me

    tried that thanks though.

    However its the r4 menu like hen it boots up and on all the games through r4 its darker on 1.24 than 1.18

    Take out the r4 and adjust screen brightness on the ds main screen?

    Kernal v1.18 was the only original version for DS and DSL with the real R4

    v.1.24 is not a original build...
