Hollywood's always loved remaking movies. It's just this time, most of them are from the 1980s, which I'm guessing a great many of you were alive to witness.

They're coming out with a new Tron movie...

I haven't seen in myself, but for the most part, my peer's reviews are pretty positive. By the way, anybody could have told you the new Nightmare on Elm Street was a remake. I mean, honestly, there was nothing left to make a sequel to by the time they were done making Freddy movies.

If they made aanother sequel to Nightmare On Elm Street, would you still think Hollywood is out of ideas?

That A-Team movie looks rather interesting.

Though the Avatar the Last Airbender looks like another shitty Night movie...

Iron Man 2 was ok, but could have been better.

They are running out of ideas.

There needs to be newer and better movies...

Now that I think about it, I can't think of any good movies coming out this summer besides Scott Pilgrim Saves The World.

Hot Tub Time Machine was pretty fantastic. That was the last recent movie I saw that I enjoyed though except for Clash of the Titans. The Last Airbender will fail miserably, very very miserably.

Night + Any Movie Idea = Fail

For the most part though, nearly every movie that enters theaters is a remake anymore. It is much easier to take a 40+ year old movie and remake it with big special effects than it is to come up with a completely new idea. Also, Halloween 2, the newer one, is the worst movie I've ever seen.

When I heard they were making a movie, I was happy. Then I heard M. Night Shamalan (sp?) was directing it. I can't recall ever watching one of his movies that I actually enjoyed. Might as well have handed the project to Uwe Boll.

The Day the Earth Stood Still remake was a total flop. The original is like 20 times better.

All of Night's movies suck really...I used to think they were good and now I realize that they suck... :p

I hope the A-Team movie is good...
I haven't seen a decent movie since The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou.

Cars was a bit shallow, but Pixar's never made a shoddy movie yet in my opinion. I'm hoping Toy Story 3 won't tarnish the Pixar name.

You didn't mind... the ending of The Village. Aha what?

I can respect anyone's movie taste as long as they like:

    1) Fight Club
    2) The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
    3) Monty Python and the Holy Grail

But in all honesty, no one likes the movies I like, so what can I do?...
