Office 2007 Documents To Open In Office 2010

I have Office 2010 and Office 2007 installed on my laptop, and I was wondering, is there any way to make 2007 files open in Office 2010? When i double click on a file I made in Office 2007, it doesn't open in Office 2010. how can I get this to happen?

 

Right Click, and choose "Open With" and change the program that the file opens with.
I think Office 2010 uses the .docx, .xlsx, etc extensions, and the older Office versions use the .doc, .xls, etc.

So right now, your computer has associated the .***x documents with 2010 and the .*** (no x) documents with 2007

 

There's no option in the Programs & Features section to uninstall it

Uninstall 2007 is save space!

Look for the "uninstall" or "unwise" program to uninstall it that way, it has to be in the 2007 folder, somewhere...

Use Revo Uninstaller, see if that would work...

Did you search it? No on "Program Files" but on the 2007 folder for MS Office.
