odd problem with the CIOS of the wii and gecko

    well here is the problem im running a 4.2u wii and i installed first CIOS 249 rev14 , when i upgrade to rev 19 or rev 20 problems start , for example gecko loses all its extra functions, and it seems to cause conflict with the MIOS patch, i had to downgrade to rev 14 (i was running rev20) so the patch would run correctly, any one minds explaining to me why gecko loses its extra functions when i upgrade from CIOS? oh and neogamma (i have Uloader, Geckos OS and neogamma in my SD) does recognizes the latest CIOS as valid but oddly it wont show the rev (using noegamma R8)

    It may be conflicting with each other.

    i know that, but i wonder why? wasnt gecko designed to be compatible with most CIOS versions?

    I don't know. Please try to update Gecko, then updating the CIOS..

    the latest version of gecko is 1.9.3, the authors claimed that they wont launch any other version that do not needs wii RD or gecko USB
