NYPD denied piece of $1B stimulus pie to hire more cops

    when i heard of this, i didn't understand why new yorkers were upset about it. if ny didn't met the criteria for the money, why did they get so upset.

    this brings the idea of social assistance. there are those who apply for social assistance and are denied because according to the criteria, those people don't qualify. the problem here is, just because they don't qualify doesn't mean they don't need it.

    and here is a good example where ny is getting screwed and i don't understand why people are upset.

    The last part of page 1 was a bit funny.

    Biden said paying officers' salaries was a "moral obligation."

    Governors and mayors getting the help were grateful.

    - Of course they are grateful. They are not police officers but they are receiving the money, instead of the police officers.

    In here, we call that graft and corruption.
