Not sure what type R4 I have and want to connect to Wii.

Hey, I have been reading for a long time now on how to connect to Wii using an R4 card and have failed many many times.

And am not sure what type of R4 card it is.

Is there any way to get this to connect successfully to Wii (Pokemon Battle Revolution)?

Its R4 SDHC, a clone.

I don't think Pokemon Battle Revolution actually supports connecting, does it?

 

Very few flashcarts support connecting to the Wii. I am fairly certain the R4 SDHC does not support it.

Wait a sec........How in the hell did I manage WarioWare DIY to connect to WarioWare DIY Showcase then?

It was with a R4 SDHC...

Please try to connect with YSMenu.

 

Ive tried to set up YSMenu many times on it but cant get it to load roms?

P.S Is there no way I can run Wood? I know that has Wii compatability

 

You can't run it unless you have the original R4, which I assume that you don't have.

 

I've got Wood running on the R4 but when I load Roms it comes up with a FAT error?

And no I don't have an original R4. Where's the best place to get them?

If you're in the States or Canada, you might want to use http://www.veebuy.com/index.php I know it's reliable, and it's in Canada I got my R4 from it, or if your in Australia, you've gotta order from another country, Nintendo (I'm pretty sure) got rid of most sites in Australia...

I followed all of the steps correctly but still get a dldi error when starting Roms. Thanks though

 

Download the 1.34 firmware from http://www.r4sdhc.com/
Then remove all YSMenu files from the SD card.

Then place all files in the ZIP/RAR into the SD card and run R4_Pandora.nds

Then launch games and Voilla! Working YSMenu.
