I forgot to log in before I downloaded a file worth 63 points. I only realised it about halfway through. I realise this is probably one of the dumbest questions EVER asked but I just can't shake the sense that using an account and guest downloads is somehow against the rules. If you deem it necessary you can remove the 63 points off of my account.
no, it's not against the rules. You hurt yourself because guest downloads are limited to 100KB/s though.
Is there a portion of the site that explains "Guest Downloads" like it explains points? I'm curious about it.
I don't see what would need to be explained, if you can't be bothered to log in then you can save some points sometimes, but it'll come at the cost of download speed, and you can only download 2 files - below 100mb, a day. Personally I'd much rather login.
Ah. Ok. It's just easier to buy a few points. Did you guys recently update the paypal interface when purchasing points? I just bought some and it seemed a lot easier than when I tried to buy some a few months ago.
We updated the buy page, but other than that there's nothing we can do, paypal won't let us change anything.
