North American Server

Why is the North American server not on any of the US games? Every time I go to a US game to download it, it only has the European server...Why? I have all the cookies enabled. When I even try to download the European server...It is slow, then when it is actually downloaded and I extract them, they don't work on my DSi. This is for a US games. Help...I'm getting tired of my old games and I have an Acekard 2i that works perfectly fine with all the other games that I used to download.

 

Take a look at the other topics about the North American server.

The files are exactly the same on the two servers, any issues with them not playing on your DS/DSi is not due to the server you downloaded them from. If it extracts without error, then the download was not corrupted.

Then what is wrong with the North American server? Why isn't it showing up for any of the US games?

The same games are hosted on each server, they are just on different locations.

By the way, on the Europe games the USA server also doesn't show up.

How long?

When Seph or Loonylion has fixed the problems with the server.
It is unknown when.

 

Actually on US games the Europe server does show up. It just is in red which means that it has very slow download speed. And another thing why couldn't you guys lets us downloaders know when the North America server crashed?

 

Both servers do appear for all downloads when the servers are up and running, the server choice is not tied to the region of the game.
The only reason the North American server is not showing up currently is because it has been taken down for maintenance reasons. This is talked about in the other topics.

The files for each server are the same. The speed differences between your downloads from each server depend on numerous things, including server load (how many people are using it) and the distance between you and the server and the route taken. Long distances do not necessarily mean slower downloads.
