North American Download server is very slow.

Well I live in north america (Texas if you must know) and for some reason the North American Download Server is epic failing in speed :'( I was getting like 5kb/s and on the European Sever I am getting 149kb/s... Anyone know about this? ???

I am going to have to aplogize because I have to go to work and won't be able to check this topic for about four hours :-\ sorry.

 

From what I can see, you have AT&T Uverse in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.

I am investigating this issue, but I will need some help from you.

I need you to create a traceroute for me.


If you have Windows XP:
Running a Traceroute on Windows XP:

1) Go to Start (start button on the lower left of the desktop)

2) Choose 'Run'

3) Type: "cmd" (no quotes)

4) This should bring up a DOS prompt. Once there, type: "tracert romulation.net" (without quotes)

Windows Vista:
Goto Start
In the search box, type in "cmd" (no quotes)
This should bring up a DOS prompt. Once there, type: "tracert romulation.net" (without quotes)


Once you see traceroute, right click and click "mark", then highlight all of the content, hit enter, and post traceroute here.
