Hi guys, I joined back in January but have only just got around to this introduction, too much to do and never seems enough time.

I am 56 and have a 50 year old wife, I like Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush a band that plays Hendrix style music amongst other styles, I also play the DS lite.

I am an administrator on a site for a motor cycle group in North Wales, so know what a headache it can be for these guys here, and am not looking forward to getting the extra headaches (lol).

I have 2 children a girl of 11 (12 in August) who mainly plays the flute (grade 4) but can play a couple of other instruments, and plays a DS lite (lol).

The other is a boy who was 9 in May, he plays violin, & took his grade 1 exam today, he is also learning acoustic guitar but must add, needs no tutoring on a DS lite.

I also have a step-son of 27 who left home about 11 years ago but haven't a clue what he is up to, as he doesn't even contact his mum (my wife), he was into Sega games but wouldn't be surprised to find that he has upgraded to a DS as well.

    Thanks for the welcome guys,

I may be 56 but I don't feel it, and ya'll probably think the same way, if & when you get there!

I also belong to another rom site, idgamez, but I got told off for welcoming new members because I wasn't staff, WTF that's got to do with anything, I don't know. All the other sites I visited all welcome new members, not just staff.

They seem to set up the site for younger people, give them a bunch of rules and expect them to obey them to the letter, the main owner seems o.k. but his wife or girlfriend just jumps on everyone the second they make a mistake, if she did it in a nice way it wouldn't be so bad. I wouldn't be surprised to find that they have visited here seen this and then ban me from their site.

The wife or girlfriend even had a go at me for pointing out that certain links weren't working, and for trying to help out with suggestions as to how to fix the problem. Being an administrator for a motor cycle group's website (which I did tell them), I thought they may appreciate someone offering free advice, and I did it via PMs and didn't plaster it on their forum. She told to butt out!

Don't waste your time joining there as this site is 50 times better (at least), and I'm glad I found this site, as you guys are a lot friendlier, and if I do get banned it just means I'll spend longer here (I already do anyway).

Thanks to all you nice guys & gals here!
