    How do you play Midi Sound files on the ePSXe

    I really wanna play Xenogears :-\

    I cant believe no ones answered this...

    My Xenogears file looks like this..

    and my ePSXe wont play it?

    So could anyone help me pretty please

    I not sure that it would work to be honist, But why do you wish to blast of your ears XD!

    They is a diffrent emulator called PSX v1.13 but i don't think it supports MIDI

    midi is a tracked audio format, you need a sequencer to play it.

    What is the extension of that file? Is it really a disc image, or did you download the wrong file?

    It's most definitely a image file. Sounds for a CD size game aren't 575 MB and they don't come in a PAL format.

    To OP. Your computer has wrongly associated the image file format with a program that's used for sound, if you know how then change the association. Otherwise simply start your emulator, choose "open image file" (or similar, I don't have the emulator here so I don't know the exact naming!) and then browse to your file.

    indeed, I've never seen a midi file over a few kilobytes.
