Noob problems

Ive just started to get into this Roms and r4's. Ive transfered WWE 2010 and GTA chinatown over to my r4, It loads up fine the first time but after I turn it off and try loading up the game again it just freezes on the loading screen (top screen). Any help appreciated.

 

If you are using R4 revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS) with Kernal v1.18, then try this new firmware

The GTA chinatown on this R4 with the new DSTT v1.17a12 firmware works no probs

Also the (U) version of legend of zelda ST i had no problems with!

Yes it dose, you may have to manuly patch the GTA CTW game...

I will get back to this in a moment, when i fined the info!

EDIT: Forgot to mention , That pic ownly a 2gb micro sd card will work on it, are a 4GB non-"SDHC" microSD

That new firmware will play the games unpatched on that R4 original, i thought you ment a R4 SDHC

 

ive bought a R4 SDHC 8gb package, was this a bad move?

Not realy, You may have to patch the games manuly, That pic abouth is a R4 original card

On a R4 original can only take a 2gb micro sd, A R4 SDHC card can take upto a 32GB microsd SDHC card

Mabe you could backup games and saves and format you microsd card, reinstall for firmware - games and saves

You could try that firmware but i don't know if it would work on a R4 SDHC, The pic i show you ^ dose not have the SDHC simble on it

can you just replace your normal v1.18 firmware with this? Or do you have to set it up like YSMenu?

 

He or see sed they have a R4 SDHC type

I not sure if ysmenu would work on it

Or ysmenu.nds converted to _DS_MENU.dat as a firmware with TTMenu folder
