Noob help in Patching

    Hi, this is an extremely noob-ish question but help would be appreciated.

    How do you use patches? What do you do with them for them to work?

    for a .bat file patching method.

    First rename the just un-zipped rom the same as the cracked patch.nds file or something like this. - patch = patchforrom.crack or patch or something - rom = patchforrom.nds

    then there should be a .bat file that you need to run and you will have a patched rom!! should be (i.e.) - patchforrom-cracked.nds

    for an ips patch.

    you will need an ips patcher, just google ips patcher.

    you then open the program, select the rom and patch and hit the patch button and your rom is patched!
