So I have a Dsi with the following : Everything worked fine, except there were a couple of games that didn't work. So i thought maybe I need an updated firmware&kernel but in my Noobness I downloaded and firmware flashed this: 3DS V6.2.0-12 and DSI V1.45Upgrade Firmware & kernel (which apparently is for the 2013 version of this card) Instead of this: 3DS V4.5.0-10 and DSI V1.45Upgrade Firmware & kernel And now every time i want to load up a game the screen stays white. Am I screwed or is there a solution. Sorry for the Noobness.
I believe there is a method to recover, but its not guaranteed to work. It involves using another flashcart to run the correct update, and swapping the carts before you confirm the flash process, so that the flash is performed on the bricked cart.
I see. Unfortunately i don't have a second flashcard. I think I'll just buy a new card (It's not like they're expensive). I see one of the stickie posts has advice on what best to buy. Thanks!
