no sound

i've downloaded some games here and i burned them on CD

and the game worked with PS1 but with no sound only effects sounds

did i messed up or something

need help

 

Depends on what emulator you are using.
I am not real familar on these kind of things, but I have ePSXe and one time it was
not play sound during the movie parts.
So, I went to config the sou nd plugin and hit enable XA Sound.

you got me wrong i don't have any emulators just a normal PS1 device

 

Oh, My bad. Only thing I can say is make sure all your plugs work
perfectly or near perfect.

How did you burn them to cd ? In what speed ? From iso file or from bin,cue ? Can you give details about the problem ?

 

haha You downloaded a PS1 RIP. Meaning all the videos and movies were taken out so you could get such a small file!

 

Ah, now it's understood. RIp games have only sound effects but no music and movies , they are taken out to make it smaller, a rip. I personally download most games -generally all games except rpgs- as rips because they are really a quick download.
