No Rom working on any fw of Wood/kernel (Original R4DS!)

Hi Guys,
A few days ago i ordered a R4 Flash Card for my NDSL. I looked it up it's an Original R4 Flashcard, no Clone.
I spent hour for hour and was trying to get it work.
The Problem: No rom on any fw worked til yet. Everytime blank white screen and freeze.

What I already tried:

- Latest firmware R4 Wood (tried older/other ones too)
- Latest Kernel Firmware
- YSMenu

After each try i formatted the microSD (Kingston 2 GB) with the Panasonic Formatter.

Roms i tried to run: Pokemon Platinum/SoulSilver/Perl/White2 and even Mario Kart.
None of them worked.

I'm really done and tired of spending hours in this flash card to work.
I hope some of you may have ideas for me.

You need to update your Firmware version.
Get the latest Wood R4. im on my mobile network so its hard to post a link.
Someone will come along soon to assist you.

 

I've written that i already updated it to the latest firmware version.

 

I bet 20000 points it's not an original.

 

There is no i/sdhc or whatever. Only R4 Revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS)

What was the website listed on the packaging?
Looks like the original, but might not be.

 

Its a clone, you see the full overalls at the top ledge ?, Original R4 has half overalls .



Mine has half overall, and works well with ysmenu and woodr4 .

(Note) Clone also may not have a silver screw on back.

Xd prectorian , Yes you did, and I seen that Flaw right away .

 

Taken better look at picture , and changed angle a bit .
Then you see it better that it is indeed a false one.

round dots , and uneven spacing

 

Mine is on the right and have the real thin-er overalls and sliver screw in the back and half cut off at top = real jimmsu.

Yes his has rounded.

Along the Top ledge the oval, they are half cut of, like cut in half, where the fake are full rounded a long the top ledge.

Is what I men't .

Anyway don't matter.

 

Look at picutere what i posted , there the real card has full round and not cut off , they where from the first batch.
I have also that one , and is a real R4 wit scew on the back.

There where more batches and print changed a bit for real r4 cards.

Yes I understand that they are many types over the years, and is hard to a first timer to know.

I tried it with the "newest" Kernel as firmware additional with the newest YSMenu.
It's working till i try to start a rom. Roms are still not working.
I'm tired of it. I think I'll just buy a new flash card.

One last wish of me. Could please somebody tell me what flash card i should buy, thats still officially supported and fast set up?
Forum Posts about that are years old and i would prefer a flash card of this time.
